Li Jianqi signs the three party cooperation agreement with New Zealand College of Business and Lincoln University
In order to strengthen the exchange and cooperation among our university and foreign universities, and broaden the ways of international education and study for teachers and students, President Li Jianqi visited the Lincoln University, Massey University, Whiteireia community polytechnic, University of Technology Sydney, and University of Western Sydney from May 6th to 13th.
During the visit, our delegation was warmly welcomed by the leaders of those universities and the heads of the counterpart departments. The two sides held discussions on international cooperation projects such as student credit recognition, exchange student issues, undergraduate promotion and overseas training.
At the symposium, our school signed the three party cooperation agreement with the Lincoln University and New Zealand Business School , the cooperation agreement with Whiteireia Community Polytechnicon on the mutual recognition of credits was also signed; meanwhile, the cooperation intention with the University of Western Sydney was reached, and the memorandum of cooperation would be signed in the near future. After the symposium, the delegation visited the teaching and experimental sites and student dormitories of these colleges and universities.
Li Jianqi, on behalf of our school, thanked these colleges and universities for their warm reception; he introduced our school’ s basic situations and professional features in details and expressed the intention to have international cooperation and exchanges with these colleges and universities; he also invited the counterpart leaders to visit our school.
The achievements of this visit are remarkable, which will play an important role in accelerating the cooperation and exchange with foreign universities, deepening the reform of school education, and promoting our school level.
